The Specular Reflectance Standard is uniquely suitable for monitoring mid infrared specular reflectance instrument stability. Its specially treated germanium element acts as a single absolute reflective surface. Its high refractive index provides a strong signal and the material is chemically inert and mechanically stable.

Standard is 3mm thick and 38 mm in diameter with 50 mm x 14 mm housing. The surface of the standard is in plane with the housing to allow it to be placed on flat sampling surface.
